This blog has been set up to describe the construction of our new self build house at Ardross in the Scottish Highlands.
The house has been under construction since early 2015 with some preparation and ground works having been done in 2014.
Originally I was documenting the build progress on a blog hosted on ebuild.co.co.uk Unfortunately that site has announced it’s closure. So this new blog, started in May 2016 is taking over as the place where I can tell you all about our progress.
Initially this blog will only have place holder pages for the work done prior to May 2016. Work done after that date will be documented fully. For a while my old blog will remain viewable at ebuild.co.uk under the name “self build in the Highlands”. Eventually, as time permits, I will migrate the older blog posts to this site as well.
